May GPFF Club Meeting:  Fishing Putah Creek

Presented by John Murphy, GPFF Member and Avid Local Fisher!

With the heavy runoff this year, it can be difficult to find moving water in the area that’s fishable and accessible. You’ll need a tailwater, that’s close to a major highway, that produces quality fish.

For many, Putah Creek is that local spot to catch the fish of a lifetime. John Murphy will join us to present the history, controversies, access, techniques, and tactics for this blue-ribbon tailwater located just outside of Winters. With the wildly-fluctuating flows, clarity, and accessibility, this presentation is a must-see.

This program will be presented as a hybrid meeting.  You can attend in-person at the Kensington Community Center, or attend via Zoom.  Details to be provided nearer the program date.

Meet and socialize:  6:30 PM
