Donations

Part of the auction tradition is donations of materials or services from GPFF members.  Many of us have something to offer such as personally tied flies, events, coaching, wine, and gourmet cooking – both fishing and non-fishing items are accepted.  These items are particularly prized because we are a social club that likes to recognize each other’s skills.  We also take monetary donations if that is your preference.  However, this isn’t a garage sale - we don’t want old, moldy waders.  Please contribute items that are clean and in good, usable condition.  If you have something to donate, please contact Eric Larson by email: grizzlypeakflyfishers@gmail.com

Volunteer

We also need some help on the Auction Committee.  Please contact me if you want to volunteer for one of these jobs:

  • Organization of live auction items
  • Auctioneer
  • Record items and bids during live auction (2 people)
  • Delivering auction items to winners

Why?

GPFF is funded through membership dues and our annual auction.  The auction is a critical part of our continued ability to provide fishing opportunities for members, trout in the classroom equipment to local schools, and conservation and educational activities to the community.  It is also a fun event with socializing and some friendly competitive bidding where you can pick up some great stuff and support the club!
